There should be a black "flip combine" button you can select under the customizable dashboard widgets/buttons with the latest software 2018.4.1 to fix this.
Tap Dash View
Tap Configure Dashboard buttons
Tap one of the blank green spaces
Find the black "Flip Combine" button
Return to main screen and tap that button.
Combine icon should flip 180 degrees to show correct direction of travel.
