E.Central MN | That's a pretty big generalization. Sometimes neither is true. I've known some very smart women and I've known men who only acted on impulse. The best advice I saw on this post was the one that told the poster to take his FIL out for a beer or coffee and lay the cards on the table. Doesn't mean it will help anything on this deal, but he'll get a better idea of where things stand in the future for whatever that's worth. The thing about how the guy doesn't feel like his wife is on his side needs to be discussed with his wife before it festers and possibly ruins their marriage. It could be that she's totally on his side, ok with the way things are, and doesn't think its very smart to put their current life at risk just to rent more land in this farm economy. | |
