Pray about it and go talk to her dad and brothers. If they truly have enough they should be happy you have a chance at it. If they think they have a “right” to it, I guess bid it up. No one has a right to ground. I just lost out on a farm I had been custom farming and led to believe I’d have first chance at. Landlord wouldn’t let me match highest bid. Oh well. Win some lose some.
