| I lost my internet connection with the DSL. I couldn't log on the internet, nor did my ROKU work with my router.
I called the internet service provider and talked about 30 minutes with a customer service rep that couldn't speak English. My phone works fine but no internet. I was bored today and checked everything I could think of. Finally I removed the filter from the phone jack line and now I can log on the internet with my computer but I cannot get my ROKU to recognize my router.
My question is, does a router need a filter or could my router have failed when the filter did?
