You can not use Xarelto or Eliquis if you are dealing with a heart valve replacement. I am sure they must charge a lot for those drugs to pay for the endless TV ads they run every day.
I have taken warfarin for a long time and it is nuisance, but I am managing. I have not noticed any major change in being more sensitive to cold. My wife has become more sensitive to cold and she only takes some BP meds and she used to complain about the house being too warm. I think a lot of folks become more sensitive to cold weather as they age and their circulation becomes poorer. My wife now has a sweat shirt that says, I AM FREAKING COLD printed across the front of it.
