Tuscola, IL | I am told, and have no reason to doubt the info, but also have no idea on the inner workings of climate so maybe someone can correct me if my info is wrong, but climate is pulling very raw data from the can bus. The Pro refines the data into a more usable and cleaner format. The fieldview puck is pulling data pre-display so it has not refined it yet. Where the Pro knows how to interpret the data it is getting directly, the fieldview system is doing an educated ‘guess’ at what the finished data should look like. Again, this is not gospel and I’m hoping someone with more knowledge of the climate products can correct me if I’m mistaken. I’d love to know more about the inner workings of the climate system, but since we don’t sell climate, I don’t have the time to try to learn another system when I’m trying to keep up with AFS products.
