Subject: EZ Boom problem

West Tennessee
We're running an EZ Boom and EZ Guide 500 in our 4710 and have for at least 4 or 5 years. This year sometimes the master switch on the EZ Boom failed to shut down the section control like it always has. So we would fold up and go back to the truck and cross into an unsprayed area and the booms came on with the master switch off. We would have to cut the boom sections off on the EZ boom or turnoff the master switch on the hydro handle to turn them off. If you didn't turn off the boom sections individually it would still paint (as though it was spraying) and that causes obvious issues as well. Some days it seems to work fine other days it won't hardly work at all. I assumed that since we used the master switch all the time it must have gone bad. Since that switch was soldered onto the board I sent it to AG Express for replacement. They did as requested and we put it back in the machine. Yesterday....you guessed it....same exact problem. So what could cause this issue after all these years of working just fine? It doesn't seem to be a setting issue in the EZ Guide because we don't change anything when it works or doesn't. Seems to be an issue in the EZ Boom itself but just not sure now.
