Subject: RE: What are the different levels of gps accuracies?

East Central, Nebraska
1. waas, sf1
2. rangepoint rtx, terrastar l
3. omnistars (xp, hp is likely closer to RTX) & sf2
3. RTX (standard and fast, same accuracy different convergence time) sf3, terrastar c
4. True RTK (radio - cellular)

i agree/disagree with torn above. i think true rtk needs it own category, the category should only include sub inch year to year repeatability. rtx terrastar, and sf3 claim no better then 2 inch accuracy which all state is not guaranteed until fully converged. deere claims that could take up to 40 minutes. no circumstance i am aware of where true rtk is delivered via satellite. true rtk is instantly on, others have convergence times.
