Cut into wedges (~2") or halves if they're small pumpkins, clean out the seeds. Lay the pieces cut side down in a baking dish with a water. Bake until the skin is crisp and the flesh is soft when poked with a fork. Cool a little, remove the skin and dried out or burned flesh, and run everything through the blender. Store in quart freezer bags.
