Southeast Colorado | Biggest problem with your scenario Boone is that those things could be the "nail in the coffin" for his farm business. Everyone is at their own place financially and since there is not a lot of money in farming right now...............how do you just pick up and move operations when you're quite a ways into your plan? Don't get me wrong..........you could very well be right in what you say.........but if he makes his Dad upset and loses 60% of his land base and has spent money on infrastructure in another location.............he may then be broke. I think he's between a rock and a hard place. He obviously needs to do something..........but I believe I would vote for looking to move on somehow or some way that doesn't involve going into debt. Basically I'm just sticking with my thoughts on my other post above even after this fellows latest additional info. | |
