Iowa | Ha! Setting boundaries is pointless if your dad has dementia. Then it's groundhog day every day. That's the way it was in my situation.
I know I'm not the OP in this thread. The thought of your dad having dementia and showing up every day to kick you in the rear end because he did not remember the previous day made me laugh a little.
We all probably take a lot for granted until we have to deal with things like that.
