| John. I'm not sure what you are asking but I will try to give you some info:. There were always updates to Quicken to correct their programs but if you mean yearly paid for updates I did not know they started that. I am using a old version, Quicken 2001 deluxe that was updated a couple of times but is no longer supported but does simple book keeping for me. The tax part and the internet parts where you connect to your bank and stock quotes don't work but the simple accounting part still works and that is all I need. I started out with it on XP then 7-pro then Win 8 and now it is on 10 version 18**. I'm not sure if it's 32 bit or 16 bit but probably 32. On Windows 8 I think I installed it as a administrator and as a Windows XP program but it's been so long I can't be sure. I hope this helps you out.
