Texas | Personally I hate the things. I think they are ugly and at some point in the future they are going to be abandoned and the companies that own them are bankrupt and gone and people are going to be left with these things dotting the landscape. This may not happen for many years but I feel it will happen. That being said those who have them seem to be happy with the money they receive off of them and after the initial construction there isn't a ton of activity associated with them. I worked a month on a ranch that had at least a dozen of them and the whole time I was there I never saw any of the wind farm people out there doing anything. | |
