Morris, IL | Have had agleader yield monitors for years. Now have two Integra displays in two JD walker combines. We calibrate with J&M cart on a 3 point scale. Both combines, both crops, every year we are about 2% low. I do full calibrations adjusting speeds low to high. Don’t want to screw stuff up but what if I just added 2% to all my scale/cal. loads now after I have done 10k bushel since calibration? Would that hurt anything? Can I go back not screw stuff up.
What I think we are seeing is how 3 point scale is less then perfect which I am aware of and try to account for. But end of year scale will be right at 1/2% low every year, year in year out. So I guess should try adjusting 2.5%? Just didn’t know if it’s big no no or what? Thanks in advance. 2-2.5% in 250 bushel adds up quick nice to be little closer without doing math all the time. | |
