You need to check with your supplier as to the CCE value of the lime you purchase. That will tell you how much to apply. Your supplier should be able to provide this information.

If the CCE of the lime you purchase is 80, and you need 1 Ton/ac of 100 CCE, then:
1 Ton/ac - or 2000 lb/ac - divided by 0.80 = 2500 lb/ac lime applied.
As you can see, this rate will vary with the CCE value.
