Definition of grid spacing? The grid lines that you see on the screen are there only as a reference so you know how close you are zoomed in.

This is what I have done on my S3 and pull type fert spreader. My spreader is an old Mobile that 50' spread. I set my implement width at 20 feet. First time over I spread 1/2 rate and drive on the even passes (0,2,4,6,8 ect) second time over spread 1/2 rate and drive on odd passes (1,3,5,7,9 ect).

I could also set my width at 40' then second time across offset a/b line 20'. Gets same results but some may have a preference one over other.

Reason I did first option I could set auto steer for dad and he could spread whole field without changing any settings. As long as paint was turned on he knew where he was at.
