East of Broken Bow | In my fridge, bacon will last a day or two before it disappears. In fact, I don't think it sits around long enough to go bad if left on the kitchen counter, uncovered.
However, what I will often do, is grill the whole slab while I'm at it, cook it lightly, just so its 'done' but not too crisp. Then all you have to do is poke it in the microwave for a couple seconds, and its ready to eat.
Yea, I admit, I eat some of it cold, on the trip from the fridge to the microwave, but who can blame me, its BACON!
