| Yeah, and they conveniently neglected to mention's Boeing's $38 billion in aircraft orders from China that still could be cancelled.
The problem I see is that we simply don't produce all that much that the Chinese need or want to buy from us. If you believe that the trade imbalance needs to be reduced the only practical way to do so is to cut US purchases from China. Once you've made that decision, there's nothing left to negotiate.
The only course of action is to put a high tariff on Chinese goods and live with the consequences. End of story.
