South Central Illinois | I have a 2388 just bought 2002 year went to field for 1st time started, beans. cleaned air filter but wasn't to dirty. runs at full throttle with thresher engaged not mutch smoke. 25 ft head green stems, when start combining has lots of smoke at 2.5 mph if push to 3 mph even more smoke and rpm alarm comes on from low rpm. if idling with threshing enguaged clean at idle but lots of smoke if open throttle quick but when get to full rpm cleans up till start combining. I have owned 2 other 2388 and they didn't smoke near this bad, any ideas where to start | |
