Blvd d'Espair Bowhill, Sth Aust | BAB84 - 9/19/2018 12:16 Everyday the dipstick tube on the engine gearcase has oil on it. Cleaned vent but it wasn’t plugged. Oil level staying full so I don’t think it is losing much. Dipstick is screwed in tight. I can’t figure out how oil is coming out and not blowing the cap off. Any ideas?
Are you keeping a close eye on Hydraulic oil level....? I am unsure about 70 series, but 50's & 60's had a common issue with seal and other component failure, allowing oil to move between gearcase and hydraulic pump.
Possibly your problem is possibly related to that ? |
