Subject: 9500 sidehill feederhouse paddle not working well in green stem beans.

NE Nebraska
I tried to take some beans yesterday. They are testing 10%. Of course, the stems are even greener than they look. I’ve got a 925 head with air bar on a 9500 sidehill. The beans are tall and could be 75 bushels, so it is a lot of stuff coming in. I can thresh and chop just fine, but the slug Point is between the head auger and that dumb feederhouse paddle. The rubber is brand new which makes me wonder if things are just a bit too tight as the paddle comes around. I know it will work better with dryer stems, but this is my only hold-up. I’ve got the large stripper plate behind the auger extended to match feeder house opening. I don’t have flighting extensions. I could put worn old paddle rubber back on. Has anyone dealt with this?
