Subject: Anyone in the thumb of Michigan running MacDon head on 70 series Deere Combine?

Wondering if anyone in thumb of michigan is running a MacDon Header on 70 series Deere Combine. We have a FD 70 Draper on a 9770 and have never been able to get it to work right. I understand that potentiometer in center of head should be communicating with combine to just basically keep it around the right number but cant get combine to recognize header. Was thinking if someone within reasonable distance was running same set up I could either talk to you or come take a quick look at how you have it working. Or If You know someone at one of the tri county dealerships that has set this up before you could get me their name. Im more than willing to have them come on service call to get it going but havent found anyone to help with non green head on the machine.
Im in Yale but could drive a bit to see how you have it working. Thanks

Heres a link to my old thread asking for help
