Im not sure im following you. And im certainly not trying to discourage you either just so you know. So your saying the family is paying for everything? Who gets the profits? Are you just farming it for fun then?
80 acres does not look like much on paper but its a lot of ground for that size equipment. You will be very busy in the spring and fall.
Just rent the ground. Do a cropshare if you want. You need to be in control if your to have any skin in the game even if its just labor.
The family's paying & they also get the profits, assuming there are any lol. I'm just donating my time to farm it. I'm looking at it as a hobby. |
