Sometimes they let me buy 2 bolts and sometimes they require me to buy the whole bag(10-25 depending on the bolt). Sometimes they have what I need and sometimes they don't. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother going there and other times they save me a lot of running. Hit and miss. I've never had to wait in line (I've never seen more than one other customer in there). I don't know how they stay in business, but it's nice to have another option.
I have used their shipping service to get parts from across the country for significantly less than UPS would charge.
I buy most of my bolts from a local nut/bolt place. They require an account too, but are cheaper than Fastenal 99% of the time. They are on the other side of town, but usually worth the drive. | |
