"Producers: Due to the dislocation of soybeans in the market, caused in part by the tariffs imposed on China, our ability to offer DP may become limited.
Although not anticipated, please be aware this trade situation can change quickly. However, at this time, forward contracting for fall delivery or a cash sale over the scale and taking the Market Facilitation Program Payment appears to be a better net income option.
If you want to stay in the market, we can offer call options that will allow you to particpate in a futures market rally. This option also serves to limit your price risk. This is an individual decision."
Oh boy. I guess the farmer has to eat the poor basis because of the payment. Neato.
