I hadn't checked this forum for a while after the first few days.
I tried downloading iMovie just now; it says "iMovie can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because OS X version 10.13.2 or later is required."
I have 10.11.6.
Guess I'll keep looking for something that works.
