Cedar Rapids, Iowa | My NTRIP app used to support all the way back to Android 2.3.3, but I recently have been migrating the minimum version up to somewhere around Android 4. There is almost nobody running Android 2x or 3x anymore.
To get serial data out of an Android device via Bluetooth requires a Bluetooth chip with the Serial Port Profile (SPP) enabled. Not all Android devices with Bluetooth have SPP. This was more of an issue 5 years ago, seems that SPP has become standard in the Bluetooth stack now. | |
