The 1200 steers a lot better than my 750 in terms of locking onto the line and just being less troublesome. I think it is due to more than just having the proper settings. It seemed like the 750 was lagging farther behind reality in terms of what was happening, making it too slow to quickly lock onto an AB line. The 1200 seems to run closer to real time. It just works better. The functions on the 1200 screen seem to be more logically arranged, making it easier for me to learn on the fly. I think the 1200 is more useful in doing a wider range of tasks such as yield monitoring. I've not used the surestops.

That said, the 1200 is not cheap. If you otherwise get along well with the 750, it might be cheaper to make some row shutoffs work with it if that can be done.
