Central ND | Set up our own RTK base right at the farm this year and are using RTKonnect through a wifi hotspot on our cell phones. Worked great for planting and spraying. Have yet to try it for harvest. Would have gone with Digifarm but they only allow their dongle to connect to their network. It will be much cheaper in the long run for our setup than an annual prescription fee. But if you want the latest and greatest possible corrections for horizontal and vertical than maybe I can see that.
Absolutely love having the RTK over WAAS for planting and spraying. Saving more on product, fuel, etc. with less overlap. RTK will pay for itself in our situation soon. | |
