I have come to realize that a lot of recipes that are in magazines and on the web need checked out carefully. Sometimes I think the writer must have never made the recipe and is just writing BS fill the page. I have made some real duds that were given tons of praise on paper or I have had to juggle the quantities and seasoning to improve things.
