My Dr knows me quite well. (see above post) He sat me down a couple weeks after surgery and explained the thread he used is similar to kevlar. It will not break. BUT if I did anything STUPID ( lift too much, fall,etc) the thread would shred anything it was attached. Like I said, he is an old farm boy and he knows me. Needless to say I was a good boy.
