W.C. Mo. | Had a heifer get me down and trampled me. Shattered a leg, broke ribs, and tore up both shoulders. Pinned the leg back together and had shoulder surgery for one side 4 months later. Was supposed to wait 1 year and do the other side. Well 1 year turned into 9 years. The shoulder got so bad I could not raise arm above head. They went in for rotator cuff, also found 2 tore tendons and a partially tore ligament. Dr told me he did not know how I used my right arm for past 9 years. Lots of painful rehab but a year later I have full and painless use of both arms. BTW I am 64 now.
If you find the right Dr, they know what they are doing. Do as they say. This was the 4th time my Dr put me back together. He is a good one.
I am told shoulder surgeries are the hardest and most painful to recover from so be prepared.
Edit--Agree with above poster about a high quality, REALLY comfortable recliner. I was about 6 months post op before I could rejoin my wife in our bed.
