unless this weather gets wackyer, by having a cooler growing season, with the sun going to sleep, so to say ,it could bite you , but then again you might be doing ok, but I remember in 1974 when it froze sept 13,14,15, and good looking went to 25 bu an ac and great beans went 8
one is living in a time when the corn belt has moved 150 miles n of what it was in the 1960s , just look at 1991, we had 180 bu of 40% 40 TW corn an ac, I would want an act of God clause in my contract, to save your butt!
also want to watch what happens in eroupe and western Russia with there bad crop losses!, this weather is shaky, more so now than n the past





If there is a sudden drought or weather event that would have an effect on world ending stocks I can always lift my hedges and still participate in a portion of the rally. That's the upside of hedging verses outright cash sales.
