I found rushmore to be a tourist trap and disappointing.
I thought Crazy Horse much more impressive -especially since it is all private and no government funds,- spent a lot of time going thru the Indian museum archives there. Indians were doing a ceremony while we were there beating on the drums and dancing.
My two oldest were teenagers and we did the Wild Cave tour at Wind Cave that we really enjoyed. | |
