They only buy RINs when they refuse to buy and blend the E.

And that's the rub.. We are Moving away from Non Renewables.. Look at Europe they have exhausted their easy to deplete resources.. That is why the Sanctions on Iran are hurting so much.. They've gone offshore to the North Sea but now that is in decline.

To me.. in my "simple world" Instead of having resource wars.. If we have Renewables.. AND IT's CHEAPER which in the Case of Ethanol.. we should USE it.

Leave the Non-renewables in the ground for later.. If we have a drought.. which IS a legitimate reason for EPA Waivers.. as the Law was designed.. Then we can Rely on that to bridge the gap until the Next period of plenty.

What's so hard about that?
