Subject: Trimble FMX installation in CIH 7240 Combine

Central Nebraska

I need to install an FMX for autopilot in my 2017 CIH 7240 combine.  I know how to install it but am curious about how others have routed the cabling.

Is there an easy way to get the harnessing into the cab or should I drill a hole in right front corner of the cab floor?

What is the best way to mount the display?  There is no monitor rail like my 7120 had.  I've been told to use short self tapping screws and put a RAM mount on the front right A post.

What route is the best for the the power harness?  I'm not sure my existing harness is long enough to go from the battery box all the way to the top right corner of the cab.

Will the autosteer button on the handle work?
