Rolla, ND | Well there has been some problems because manufacturers are acting like they are in an arms race to come out with the newest implants with features they can sell, but then they claim the substantially similar exemption under the federal rules so they don’t actually do much in the way of testing, basically no long term testing.
Then the implants are on the market and some have broken down or caused metal poisoning.
I don’t know what percentage but saying 5% are of types that have shown problems would be very believable. | |
