Near-north Ontario, French River | The thing you have to remember about a Gleaner is that the chopper discharge is very narrow relative to other machines so any losses will appear much worse than they actually are. You should be able to, with little difficulty get total machine loss down to less than 1//4- 1/2bu/ac in 200 bushel corn. We find that with our R62, the vast majority of loss comes from butt shelling at the head, not from the processor side of the machine. |
