southern MN | Yup, when you learn to fly that one, you will be way over qualified to fly a real gps controlled one.
What you got is great for learning, but they are -hard- to fly.
The bigger deals are simple, you don't have to control anything, just point the direction you want to go.
The one you have, get it off the ground 20 feet, it gives you some room to manuver. When I started with one of those little ones, it sucked trying to ease it off the ground. Once I got it up overhead a ways, then there was room to work with it and maneuver some.
