Newfane NY | Yes that is one we tried this year. Yes it is very good in tight ground. Planted it after cabbage that was mudded out in the fall of 05 and it grew great. It has a big tap root and if the population is low it will branch and it has some 4 bean pods, which we never see here from the old varities we used to plant. It seems to have held its leaves longer than 8311 and 8274, all planted on the same farm same day. We here in New York are 3 to 5 years behind the west in corn and soybean varieties..........but for me that is changing fast as I get to know more people in the west. John | |
