Agreed on all points again. My thought for the power drain potential problem was to use a relay controlled by a key switched circuit from the tractor rather than invade the Ag Leader CAN. My way would require the tractor to be ON for testing.
I have never thought about having a section with no input switch assigned to it. This is probably allowed but serves no useful purpose in more normal situations. It would certainly eliminate the problem of accidently turning ON the dummy sections.
Went to the local watering hole last night for my Birthday. Didn't need your "Bounty" 12-pack as there was plenty. But another day's coming.
