Texas/New Mexico Stateline | What is wrong with me? Been changing oil in vehicles for 25 years and have always used open topped drain pans, buckets cut in half, old chemical jugs, etc. WHY did I not see this huge blind spot in my way of doing things. I've known they have existed forever, but for some reason never felt compelled to get one. So much better. Can slide it without sloshing it. Can lay the filter on it to drain. Can pour it right into the used oil tank. Made in America and can be had for $11 from Walmart. So much of my life has bee wasted dealing with inferior methods.
This is a public service announcement for anybody else that is as stupid and stubborn as me. Get a good drain pan like this. They also make huge ones for larger equipment I think I will need to buy now.
