west central Iowa | Our county fair was last week and my daughter did pretty well with her lambs. Grand champion individual lamb, pen of three, and home raised lamb. Just did so-so in the cattle show the next day, but the fact that my wife was able to bring our son to the fair for the cattle show from the rehab hospital made up for it. He was really missing going to the fairs since his car accident so it really made his day. The first pic is my daughter with her lambs, the second is my son about three weeks ago the first time he got to sit in a chair at the hospital, he's come a long way. I didn't think to get any pics of him at the fair, there are some on Facebook, but I don't know how to link to them.
He had x-rays on his pelvis today and docs said he start putting weight on his right leg now, other fractures are healed too so maybe he'll get to come home soon.
