Subject: Liberty on blooming beans

Have a field that I need to spray with Liberty a second time. The beans are group 4 planted around May 10. They bloomed earlier than normal this year. First spraying the end of May wiped out the grass and pigweeds. We have been blessed with plenty of moisture until now. Getting a little dry but pigweeds are really coming through. My consultant said that he has to go by the label on shutoff date for spraying. Beans range from early bloom to some small pods. Anybody sprayed liberty beans which had just started putting on pods. Consultant said that it could knock off pods and blooms or not hurt anything. But he said not his call. He can only go by label. What I actually do is up to me. Thanks.
