West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12		Rent a car. Head further South. As others have said, do the Everglades.

We'll be in Marco Island (about and hour South of Fort Meyers) July 31st thru August 8th doing a whole bunch of nothing. Stop in if those dates coincide with dates you'll be in the area...I'm serious. We'll show you around. Perfect time of the year to head out to Keewaydin Island and do the "float".
