Subject: RE: Trimble FieldIQ on Sprayer

Nebraska
I have yellow blue and red TeeJet AIXR. It is a 90' sprayer. It is on 5 sections. I am spraying on 30" instead of 15" for a couple reasons. First, I like that it does not plug nozzles. Second, when I was originally spraying with the red XR on 15" I couldn't get as much pressure as desired. Thought 50 psi would be good but I have issues in spots with coverage depending on some different variables. I have ran the yellow AIXR at around 6mph and it is the same thing. It caps the pressure.

I am currently running about 8.5 mph with the Red AIXR. It is an agspray boom set up with teejet control and a hypro pump. Instead of running the raven it is set up to run through trimble with its rate controller etc. Once I reach 8.5 mph it starts to lower my gallons per acre applied from 10 to 8.7 or 7.9... or whatever if you increase speed over 8.5. Perhaps I am returning too much. I guess maybe I need to think through this.

Thanks for the help. Dealer is not much help.
