I would make a 4 leg stand to get it 3-4 feet above the peak. That is what we did for the Slingshot base that was at the dealership I used to work for. Once you get it mounted do a 24 hour log and send it into OPUS. Do it right the first time and you should not have any problems down the road.
Agreed with mounting it central to the roof rather than at a corner/edge. I'm told that central mounting helps to ensure that the receiver sees equal multipath interference from all sides, which apparently helps it filter out said interference. |
