southern MN | Glad you got it figured out.
If you have a stable set up of software on the app, drone, batteries, and controller, I would shut off auto updating anything (including apps) and ignore any time it tells you to update.
The progression of updates has not always been smooth, or stable, and they tend to add features that are not helpful at all....
Get a good setup and freeze it there, esp if it is difficult for you to do upgrades.
I have a 3, so not sure everything is exactly the same on a 4, but this is the best way to handle a 3.....
