That's the same mode of action as Dual and that's not new. I'd guess the last one would be Mesotrione and now that's off patent.
I use generic chemistry but that is one of the arguments companies use is they lose that extra money they can't do research for more new chemistry. Some companies are cutting into their research programs quite a bit and that never ends well.
I know one thing coming is RNAi technology where they spray a solution on the weed that will change it's DNA and make it susceptible to the older chemistry again.
