Subject: 30 inch soybeans in ontario

ontario
Curious if anyone is growing soybeans on 30 inch rows in Ontario? Specifically grey or Bruce county?

My Massey 33 drill just isn't giving the best results for soybeans, just getting the proper rate is tricky and depth is all over the place. Emergence is very uneven etc.

Would like a splitter planter but most are out of my price range for my small acreage at this time. Was also considering a no-till drill but wouldn't be consistent like a planter, but would like the no-till ability. And the deere 750s are pricey for me too. Saw a kinze 8 row folding planter, didn't have the bean meters but are they expensive to buy? Looked at a krause 5200 notill drill but was pretty rough condition and I would still have inconsistent results i think.

Just looking for some advice.. Would like to find something better for next year but depends on how the crop turns out this year, only have so much $$$ to work with.
